I was trying to check the last time googlebot actually visited my portfolio, because I’ve updated it a bit with some better SEO tips I’ve gotten from a lot of experts in that area. Did a little research to see if there was an easy way to check last time googlebot visited my portfolio found a site called “BotsVisit“. Its a nifty little tool thats easy to implement into your website and see the last time googlebot crawled your page. This could help you when it comes to web development to see what your doing and not doing for googlebot not to crawl your site consistently, and help you improve your seo.

Does this provide more info than AWStats about when robots last spidered your site?

Basically how it works, is there are 3 pages, one for google,msn and yahoo. You insert your url and then it’ll provide a image of the date the last time that google bot, msn bot or yahoo bot crawled your website. It’s pretty accurate.
